Erich Lawson joined the North Dakota State University athletic department in September 2024. He oversees the marketing and fan engagement efforts primarily for men’s basketball, volleyball and Bison Rewards.
Lawson came to NDSU after spending a little over two years as the assistant director of marketing and fan engagement at William & Mary, where he was the primary marketing contact for women’s basketball, baseball, volleyball, field hockey and the kids club. He coordinated all aspects of game day production, in-game entertainment and promotions for those sports.
Prior to William & Mary, Lawson spent a year as the fan experience coordinator at Wake Forest, where he was the primary marketing contact for field hockey and men’s tennis. He was also the secondary marketing contact for men’s basketball and operated the videoboard for football.
Lawson graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in sport administration.
