HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at Wayzata High School and averaged 20.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 5.7 assists and three steals in her senior season...Surpassed the 1,000 career points mark with 1,423...Selected to the All-Lake Conference First Team in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons...First Team All-State selection...Earned a spot on the All-Minnesota Team and was a McDonald's All-American nominee in her senior season...She was the ninth-ranked prospect in Minnesota according to Prep Girls Hoops…Was high school teammates with current Bison, Abby Krzewinski…Also participated in soccer and won a state championship in her senior season...Was an All-State selection in track & field.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Jessie and Robert Hawkinson…Both parents attended NDSU…Robert participated in track & field at NDSU from 1997-99 and finished his collegiate career playing football at MSU Moorhead from 1999-00…Jessie earned her masters degree at NDSU...Has two sisters, Lila and Macy…Intends to major in finance.
