2013-14 Season (Senior): Selected to Portsmouth Invitational Tournament as one of the nation’s top seniors … Associated Press Honorable Mention All-American … Mid-Major All-American … Summit League Player of the Year … Finalist for Lou Henson Award as nation’s top mid-major player … NABC First Team All-District … All-Summit League first team … Summit League Tournament MVP … For his career, Braun ranked fourth in free throws made (454), seventh in points (1,651), eighth in steals (153), ninth in three-pointers (125), and ninth in rebounds (671) … Braun’s 183 free throws made in 2013-14 rank No. 2 on the NDSU single-season list, and his 564 points are the eighth-most in a season by a Bison … Averaged 17.6 points per game this season to lead the league in scoring, as well as averaging 5.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.5 steals … Scored in double figures 28 times, including four games of 30 or more points … Posted single-game highs of 15 rebounds and 11 assists … Braun concluded his NDSU career ranked among the school's all-time top 10 in nine different statistical categories, including free throws made (4th), points (7th), steals (8th) and rebounds (9th) … Only player in school history to rank among the career top 15 in points, rebounds and assists … One of four Division I players to lead his team in points, rebounds, assists and steals for the season (along with UConn's Shabazz Napier).

2012-13 Season (Junior): All-Summit League second team … Started all 24 games in which he played, but missed 10 contests with a broken foot from mid-January to late February … Led NDSU in scoring with an average of 15.4 points per game … Also averaged 5.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game … Shot 45.9 percent from the field, 43.5 percent from three-point range, and 81.3 percent from the free throw line … Scored a season-high 27 points against Kansas City in the quarterfinals of the Summit League Tournament on Mar. 10 … Tied the NDSU single-game record with seven three-pointers against Omaha on Nov. 29, going 7-for-9 from beyond the arc … Recorded season-highs of 11 assists and 41 minutes in NDSU’s first round College Basketball Invitational game at Western Michigan on Mar. 20 … Scored in double-digits in 21 of 24 games … Claimed two Summit League Player of the Week honors on Nov. 26 and Dec. 10 … Named Most Valuable Player of the Progressive Legends Classic subregional.

2011-12 Season (Sophomore): All-Summit League first team...Started all 31 games and led the Bison in scoring and rebounding...Ranked 10th in the Summit League overall stats with 15.4 points per game and was sixth overall with 6.6 rebounds per game...Ninth in the league in field goal percentage (.520) and sixth in 3-point shooting (.450)...Five double-doubles including 26 points and 10 rebounds in the season opener at San Francisco en route to tournament MVP honors...Had six other games scoring at least 20 points...Dropped a career-high 30 in the five-point win at IUPUI including 10 of 15 free throws...Scored 29 at Southern Utah including the go-ahead basket with 17 seconds left in overtime...His free throws with 6.9 seconds left in the next game lifted NDSU to one-point home win over Kansas City...Scored in double figures 25 times including 13 straight games to end the season...Named to the Summit League Winter/Spring All-Academic Team.

2010-11 Season (Freshman): Started 20 of 29 games played and finished as NDSU's leading rebounder (5.7 rpg) and fourth-leading scorer (8.2 ppg)...Season-high 19 points at Kansas City was one of 11 double-figure games...Had three double-doubles in February, including a season-high 12 rebounds in the home win over South Dakota State...Ranked 10th in the Summit League-only stats for rebounding (6.3 rpg) and free-throw shooting (.822).

2009-10 Season (Redshirt): Sat out the entire season as a redshirt in the Bison program...Played in both exhibition games against Minnesota State Moorhead and Concordia Moorhead.

High School: Graduated in 2009 from Newberg High School...Averaged 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists per game his senior year under coach Mark Vernon...Led the Tigers to a 19-8 record and advanced to the state quarterfinals in Class 6A, the state's largest division...Named Pacific 6 Conference Player of the Year, all-state first team, and finished third in the state Player of the Year voting...Participated in the Les Schwab Northwest Shootout, the Oregon Gatorade All-Star Game, and was a McDonald's All-American nominee...Averaged 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists his junior year and earned a spot on the all-conference first team.

Personal: Enrolled in university studies...Son of Wayne and Kris Braun of Newberg, Ore...Family includes four older sisters, Mallory, Kalie, Allison and Alexandra, and a younger brother, Nicholas...Played AAU basketball for Team Jones, operated by Fred Jones of the Los Angeles Clippers and coached by former Oregon State player Pat Strickland...Had walk-on offers from three Pac-12 schools.
