Started all 61 games on four Missouri Valley Football Conference and NCAA Division I FCS championship teams after redshirting on NDSU’s 2010 national quarterfinal team...Moved to free safety after starting all 15 games at cornerback as a freshman in 2011 opposite All-American Marcus Williams...Consistent, steady player in the secondary and game-changing punt returner...Finished seventh in NDSU history with a 12.26 career punt return average...Tied for third in school history with 13 career interceptions, ranked fourth in solo tackles (154) and fifth in passes defended (40).

2014 SEASON (SENIOR): All-Missouri Valley Football Conference first team defensive back...Started all 16 games at free safety...Also started at wide receiver against No. 3-ranked Montana in the fourth game of the season...Rushed twice in that game for a total of four yards...Finished with a career-high 73 tackles including 45 solo stops...Led the Bison with four interceptions...Made six solo tackles and had a 28-yard interception return in the season-opening win at Iowa State...Intercepted a Montana pass in the end zone to preserve a 19-10 late third-quarter lead...Named MVFC Defensive Player of the Week and College Sporting News National All-Star after making two picks in the home win over Youngstown State to clinch a share of the conference title...Season-high nine tackles in the FCS second round win over South Dakota State...MVFC All-Academic second team...MVFC Honor Roll.
 
2013 SEASON (JUNIOR): Started all 15 games at free safety…NDSU’s fifth leading tackler with 56 total stops including 34 solos…Ranked 18th nationally and led the Missouri Valley Football Conference with six interceptions (0.4 INT/g)…Tied an NDSU record with three interceptions in the playoffs…Season totals included six pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery…Season-high nine tackles (all solo) at Southern Illinois…NDSU’s primary punt returner…Ranked 16th nationally and third in the MVFC averaging 10.8 yards per punt return…One of five players to lead the FCS with two punt return touchdowns…MVFC Special Teams Player of the Week, Sports Network co-Special Teams Player of the Week and College Football Performance.com Punt Returner of the Week after scoring from 43 yards and then a season-long 68 yards at Indiana State…Averaged 28.3 yards on three kickoff returns, including a career-long 36-yarder against Illinois State…MVFC All-Academic Honorable Mention…Named to the MVFC Honor Roll and MVFC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award list.
 
2012 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Honorable mention All-Missouri Valley Football Conference defensive back...Started all 15 games at free safety...Finished season with 57 tackles including 30 solos and one tackle for loss...Credited with six passes defended, three forced fumbles, a pair of interceptions, one fumble recovery and a blocked kick...Blocked an extra point and forced a fumble in the 23-20 win over Georgia Southern (12-14-12) in the NCAA semifinals...Matched a season-high with nine tackles against the Eagles...Recovered a fumble in three straight games vs. Prairie View A&M (9-22-12), at Northern Iowa (9-29-12) and vs. Youngstown State (10-6-12)...Had nine tackles against Youngstown State...Returned six punts for 133 yards, an average of 22.2 yards...Reeled off a career-long 76 yard return vs. South Dakota (10-20-12)...Fielded four punts for 132 yards and one kickoff for 26 yards vs. USD…Named to MVFC Honor Roll.

2010 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out as a redshirt in the Bison program...Credited with a team-high nine tackles including five solos in the 2011 Green and Gold Spring game...Added a blocked kick and pass breakup...Named to MVFC Honor Roll.
