FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State throwers Katelyn Weimerskirch and Courtney Pasiowitz both posted marks that rank 25th in the NCAA this season to headline the performances of the Bison women's track & field team at a home meet on Friday.
Weimerskirch, a junior from East Dubuque, Ill., broke her own school record in the discus, adding five feet to her previous best with a throw of 177-11 (54.24m). Weimerskirch moved up to No. 25 in the NCAA in the discus this year, in addition to being No. 31 nationally in the hammer and No. 76 in the shot put.
Pasiowitz, a junior from Coon Rapids, Minn., registered a significant outdoor personal-best in the shot put, throwing 54-00.50 (16.47m) to win the event and set a new facility record. In all, the Bison women's throwers posted a total of five season-best marks that rank in the NCAA's top 100 at Friday's meet.

Other individual winners on the track for the Bison included Jenny Guibert (800m) and Sydney Bork (3000m steeplechase).
