MINNEAPOLIS - North Dakota State senior Lee Dhein placed in two events at Minnesota's Jack Johnson Classic on Friday to get things underway for the Bison. Dhein recorded a time of 23.05 seconds for seventh place in the 200m dash, and was eighth in the long jump with a mark of 21-08.00 (6.60m).
Freshman Colin Paarmann jumped 21-02.00 (6.45m) for 10th place in the long jump.
The majority of the events at the Jack Johnson Classic will be contested tomorrow inside the University of Minnesota Fieldhouse. The men's collegiate shot put begins at 10 a.m., and running events start at 11:30 a.m. Live results can be followed on GoBison.com or GopherSports.com.
