WAHIAWA, Hawaii - North Dakota State's Amy Anderson finished two shots back in fourth place at the Hawaii Rainbow Wahine Invitational women's golf tournament Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the Leilehua Golf Course.
Anderson shot an even-par 72 in the final round and finished at 4-over 220. Florida International's Shelby Coyle was the winner in a one-hole playoff after tying Eastern Michigan's Sarah Johnson at 2-over 218.
North Dakota State finished 12th in the 12-team event with a three-round score of 957. Florida International won with an 895, Toledo was second (897), Washington State third (898), Eastern Michigan fourth (903) and UC Irvine fifth (904).
For NDSU, Sarah Storandt tied for 56th with a 240, Hailey Boner tied for 60th with a 243, Abby Knutson was 66th with a 254 and Megan Swan 69th with a 261.
The Bison had three individuals play. Cydney Hasselberg tied for 44th with a 235, Jackie Johnson was 67th with a 257 and Emma Kusick was 70th with a 263.
It was the final fall event for North Dakota State. The Bison open their spring half of the schedule Feb. 25-26 at UC Irvine.
