ELMHURST, Ill. - North Dakota State's Kyle Kingsley was named Summit League baseball co-Pitcher of the Week by the league office Monday, April 23.

Kingsley, a junior right-hander from Fargo, N.D., went 3-0 and allowed only one hit over 5 2/3 scoreless innings of relief in three weekend appearances against South Dakota State.

It was the first career award for Kingsley.  He shared it with Alex Gonzalez of Oral Roberts, who pitched all seven innings of a 2-0 win over Western Illinois with one hit and five strikeouts.

Kingsley is the third NDSU pitcher to be honored this year.  Luke Anderson was co-Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 20 and John Straka was co-Pitcher of the Week on March 26 and April 2.

Southern Utah's Chase Rezac was named Player of the Week after hitting .545 with six RBIs and five runs scored in a 3-1 weekend over IPFW.

North Dakota State (29-9, 6-2 Summit) is scheduled to host Minnesota (23-19, 7-5 Big Ten) at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, before beginning a four-game Summit League series at IPFW on Friday, April 27.
