The North Dakota State University softball team is scheduled to host its annual Winter Softball Clinics on Saturday, Jan. 26 and Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at the Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse located at 14th Ave. N. and Centennial Blvd. The clinics are designed for players in grades 7-12.
The skills and fundamentals taught are the same the Bison use during their preseason workouts.

Session 1@ 11:00-12:45 PM: Hitting/Fielding Clinic (First 30 applicants will be accepted)
Session 2@ 1:00-2:45 PM: Pitching Clinic (First 20 applicants will be accepted)
Session 3@ 3:00-4:45 PM: Hitting/Fielding Clinic (First 30 applicants will be accepted)
Sunday Jan. 27th, 2013
Session 4@ 12:00-1:45 PM: Pitching Clinic (First 20 applicants will be accepted)
Session 5@ 2:00-3:45 PM: Hitting/Fielding Clinic (First 30 applicants will be accepted)
Pitchers will need to bring their own catcher
Cost is $55 for one clinic or $100 for two clinics. Deadline for applicants is Jan. 23.
Participants must provide their own glove and make sure full name is on all personal equipment. Catchers need to bring a full set of catching gear.
The winter clinic staff includes NDSU head coach Darren Mueller, co-head coach Jamie Trachsel, assistant coach Brea Konz and director of softball operations Andi Padilla.
