NDSU's Anderson Named Summit League Golfer of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. - North Dakota State's Amy Anderson was named Summit League Women's Golfer of the Week by the league office Wednesday, April 18, after winning the Creighton Golf Classic.

Anderson, who won the event for the third straight year, shot a 5-over-par 149 and shared the award with IUPUI's Lauren Kuss, who tied for first with a 73 in the rain-shortened Indiana Invitational.

It was Anderson's first win in four events during the spring season after winning three of five events during the fall.  She leads The Summit League by almost three full strokes with a 73.05 average this year.

North Dakota State is scheduled to play in the Summit League championship Monday, April 23, and Tuesday, April 24, at the Primm Valley Golf Club in Primm, Nev.
