NDSU's Nathan Anderson Named Summit League Men's Golfer of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. - North Dakota State's Nathan Anderson was named Summit League Men's Golfer of the Week by the league office Wednesday, Feb. 29, after getting his first collegiate victory.

Anderson, a junior from Oxbow, N.D., shot an even-par 72 in the first round and a 76 in the second round to win the Quintero Invitational by six shots over Creighton's John Rasmussen.

Anderson is just the second NDSU men's golfer to earn the award and the first since Nick Olsgaard in February 2010.

North Dakota State is off until March 12-13 when the Bison play in the South Dakota State Jackrabbit Invitational at the Primm Valley Golf Club in Primm, Nev.
