2012 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Hit .217 with one double and 10 RBIs in 33 games...Made 12 starts at catcher and 11 as designated hitter...Four multi-hit games...JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played the 2011 season at Walla Walla Community College in Washington...Played catcher and outfield...Hit .380 with five extra-base hits and 14 RBIs in 24 games...Team went 30-16...HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2010 from Lakewood High School in Marysville, Wash...Three-year letterman...Team MVP, all-league first team, and all-state...MVP of the Washington all-state game...Also participated in basketball and was a three-year band letterwinner playing the drums...PERSONAL: Born May 25, 1992...Son of Dale and Laurel Leach...Father was also his high school principal...Has an older brother, James, and sister, Jacque...Majoring in mechanical engineering...Hit .313 with two doubles and 10 RBIs in 33 games for the Bellingham Bells of the West Coast League last summer.
