Peterson’s Performance History and Personal Bests

2011-12 SEASON

Cross Country (Sophomore): NDSU's top finisher at The Summit League Championships (10/29) and the NCAA Midwest Regional (11/12) ... Named All-Summit League after finishing sixth at the conference meet in 22:20.48, leading the Bison to a league title ... Placed 42nd at the NCAA Midwest Regional in 22:13.32 ... Won two meets on the season, placing first at the Bison Open (9/30) and at the Tim Young Invitational (10/15) ... Season-best 6k time of 20:50.50 at the Bison Open.

INDOOR (Sophomore): Claimed a third-place finish at the Summit League Indoor Championships in the 5,000m ... was also seventh in the 3,000m at the Summit Championships ... moved into the top 10 all-time at NDSU in both events during the season ... No. 4 all-time at NDSU in the 5,000m after running 17:19.85 at the Iowa State Classic on Feb. 10 ... No. 6 all-time at NDSU in the 3,000m with her time of 9:53.88 at the Bill Bergan Invitational on Jan. 28.

OUTDOOR (Sophomore): Placed seventh in the 10,000m at the Summit League Outdoor Championships ... was also 10th in the 5,000m at the conference meet ... ran 35:57.44 in the 10,000m at the Mt. SAC Relays, ranking her third all-time at NDSU in the event ... also ran 4:45.67 in the 1,500m.

2010-11 SEASON
Cross Country (Freshman): Competed in all six races...NDSU's top finisher in three races...Finished second in her first career meet, the 5k NDSU Open, in 18:43.23...Placed sixth at the Oz Memorial in 22:39.21...Ran a personal best 6k time of 21:38.1 at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational...Named Summit League athlete of the week for her performance...Finished ninth at the Summit League Championships (6k) in 21:40.6...Earned All-Summit League second team honors...Placed 76th at the NCAA Midwest Regional (6k) in 21:47.40.
Indoor (Freshman): Distance runner for the Bison...Won the mile at the Bison Open I na personal best time of 5:08.75...Posted a personal best time of 10:05.39 in the 3,000 meters at the Bill Bergan Invitational...Took fourth in the 5,000 meters at the Summit League Championships...Time of 17:26.16 is fourth all-time at NDSU.
Outdoor (Freshman): Ran the 5,000 meters at three meets and also ran the 1,500 at two meets...Posted a best time of 4:43.67 in the 1,500 meters at the Bryan Clay Invitational...Finished ninth in the 5,000 meters in 18:03.88 and third in the 10,000 meters in 37:37.21 at the Summit League Championships...Qualified for the 5,000 meters at the U.S. Junior Championships...Finished 10th in a personal best time of 17:37.12.

HIGH SCHOOL: Five-year letterwinner in cross country and six-year letterwinner in track at Sartell High School...Five-time all-conference selection and state participant in cross country...All-State honoree in cross country as a senior after finishing fourth...Placed fifth in the 3,200 meters at the Minnesota state class AA championships as a senior...Three-time state participant in track...Placed fifth in the 3,200 meters at the Minnesota state class AA championships.
