NDSU Women's Cross Country Ranked No. 14 in Midwest Region

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The North Dakota State women are No. 14 in the Midwest Region in the latest United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll released Monday, Oct. 31.  The Bison have been ranked No. 14 in two consecutive polls.

NDSU won its first Summit League Championship over the weekend behind all-league performances from Heidi Peterson, Jordan Krahn and Maddie McClellan.  The Bison have finished first in three straight meets dating back to the Bison Open on Sept. 30.

Iowa State maintains its top ranking in the Midwest Region after winning the Big 12 title over the weekend.

The Bison will next compete in the NCAA Midwest Regional Saturday, Nov. 12 in DeKalb, Ill.
