Bison Women's Cross Country No. 14 in Midwest Region

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The North Dakota State women's cross country team is ranked No. 14 in the Midwest Region in the latest United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association rankings released this week.

This is the first time the Bison women have been ranked this season.  NDSU is one of two Sumit League teams ranked as Southern Utah is No. 10 in the Mountain Region.  Iowa State is the top-ranked team in the Midwest Region.

NDSU is coming off of a first place finish at the Tim Young Invitational in Vermillion, S.D. on Oct. 15. The Bison have won back-to-back meet titles as they also won the Bison Open on Sept. 30.

The team will next compete in The Summit League Championships in Tulsa, Okla. on Saturday, Oct. 29.
