At the Minnesota state meet in 1986, she finished third in the 100 and fifth in the 200 ... The five-time letterwinner is can be found on Eden Prairie's top 10 in the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meter relay and the 800 meter relay ... Two-time MVP for Eden Prairie and team captain her senior year ... Inducted into the Eden Prairie Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004 ... Her teaching career started at Eden Prairie Schools in 1992 and she spent 14 years at Central Middle School ... Tamara and her husband, Scott, live in Chanhassen, Minnesota, with their three children, Anika, Eric, and Lily.
