North Dakota State Soccer Recognized with NSCAA Academic Award

The North Dakota State women's soccer team has been recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) with its Team Academic Award for the 2011-12 academic year.

The Team Academic Award is presented to all Division I schools with a team grade point average of 3.00 or better. The Bison posted a team grade point average of 3.40, ranking among the top 60 Division I programs in the nation.

NDSU finished the 2012 season with a record of 8-10 and tied for third place in The Summit League to earn its fourth straight bid to the conference tournament.

North Dakota State matched Oakland and Fort Wayne with a total of four recipients on the league's first and second teams to lead the conference.
