ELMHURST, Ill. - North Dakota State forward Brooklyn Dyce was named Summit League women's soccer Offensive Player of the Week by the league office Monday, Oct. 10.

Dyce, a junior from Winnipeg, Manitoba, had an insurance goal in the 58th minute of NDSU's 2-0 win at IUPUI on Friday and made two assists Sunday in the 4-0 win at Western Illinois.

It was the first career award for Dyce, who has recorded at least one point in three of NDSU's four Summit League games.

It was the fourth straight week an NDSU player was named.  Holly Christian won back-to-back awards in September and Anisha Kinnarath was selected last week.

UMKC goalkeeper Jami Finnell was named Defensive Player of the Week after making five saves in a 2-1 win at IPFW and four saves in a 2-0 win at Oakland.

North Dakota State (11-2-1, 4-0-0 Summit) is scheduled to close out its home schedule against IPFW at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, and Oakland at noon Sunday, Oct. 16, at the Ellig Sports Complex.
