A men's nonconference matchup against the University of North Dakota at the Fargodome on Sunday, Dec. 9, marks the third time in three years that the two intrastate rivals will play in men's basketball.

The Bison women will face UND at home at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30. The game will mark the first time the two universities have played in women's basketball since the 2003-04 season.

The NDSU men and women will play a 16-game schedule in the nine-team Summit League with the addition of Omaha and the departure of Southern Utah and Oral Roberts.

League rival South Dakota State visits Fargo on Dec. 29 to take on the Bison men. The SDSU women return to Fargo on March 2 for the regular-season finale.

The Bison men return four starters and the top five scorers from last year's 17-14 team that tied for fourth place in the Summit League with a 9-9 record and played in the College Basketball Invitational presented by Zebra Pen.

The NDSU women return 12 letterwinners and six seniors from last season's team.  North Dakota State finished 11-20 in the 2012 season including an 8-10 record in The Summit League.
