Burich, Plucker Pick Up College Sports Madness.com All-Summit League Honors

North Dakota State University center Janae Burich and forward Abby Plucker picked up College Sports Madness.com All-Summit League honors. Burich was a first-team selection, while Plucker was on the fourth team.

Burich, a 6-foot-5 junior from Roseville, Minn. (Roseville H.S.), was second in rebounding (8.3 rpg), third in field goal shooting (.505) and blocked shots (2.8 bpg), and 10th in scoring (13 ppg) in the final Summit League statistics.

Plucker, a 5-foot-11 senior from Parker, S.D. (Parker H.S.), was fifth in free throw shooting (.851) and seventh in rebounding (7.4 rpg) in the final league stats. She moved up to 21st all-time at NDSU in scoring with 1,169 points.

North Dakota State lost 80-64 in the first round of the Summit League tournament on March 4 in Sioux Falls. The Bison finish with an 11-20 record including a 8-10 fifth place showing in the league standings.
