2011-12 SEASON (Junior)

NCAA Championships qualifier at 174 pounds with an at-large bid ... posted a record of 24-14 for the season ... 9-6 in dual meets ... one pin, one technical fall and two major decisions on the year ... went 1-2 at the NCAA Championships, losing to No. 9 seed Austin Trotman of Appalachian State 13-6 before earning a 4-0 decision over Matt Ryan of West Virginia ... eliminated with a 12-6 loss to Grant Gambrall of Iowa ... claimed a third-place finish at the NCAA West Regional on Mar. 4, going 3-1 ... went 4-2 in Western Wrestling Conference duals ... registered wins in duals against No. 9 Missouri (1/13) and No. 17 Oregon State (1/22) ... Bison Open runner-up on Nov. 12, going 3-1 before falling to Kevin Steinhaus of Minnesota ... took third place at the season-opening Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open on Nov. 5, posting a 4-1 record ... third team All-WWC.

2010-11 SEASON (Sophomore)

Went 5-6 overall and 5-2 in duals...Won his first match back from injury, a 7-1 win over Carter Downs of Appalachian State...Won three of four bouts at the Wolfpack Duals...Went 1-1 in WWC matches...Defeated Cody McAninch of Air Force, 7-1, and lost to Air Force's Joseph Stafford, 16-1.

2009-10 SEASON (Freshman)

Compiled an overall record of 18-17 and a dual mark of 7-9...Finished second in the red division at the Dragon Open and sixth at the Daktronics Open...Won three straight duals against No. 6 Boise State, Northern Colorado and East Stroudsburg...Went 0-2 at the NCAA West Regional, losing to No. 2-seed Brad Darrington of Utah Valley and No. 1-seed Brock Smith of Wyoming.

2008-09 SEASON (Redshirt)

Competed at 174 pounds in three open tournaments as an unattached wrestler...Went 7-4 overall...Finished 2-2 at the Bison Open and 1-2 at the Kaufman-Brand Open (amateur division)...Won the Dragon Open with a 4-0 record.

HIGH SCHOOL
Six-year letterwinner in wrestling at Perham High School...Two-time all-state selection...Placed sixth at the Minnesota state wrestling tournament as a junior and third as a senior...Holds the school record for most takedowns in a season...Helped team to four straight section titles and two straight state runner-up finishes...Team named all-state academic champions in 2005, 2007 and 2008...All-conference and all-state football player...All-conference and all-section baseball player.
