Lambertson had six kills in the third set and NDSU committed only two attacking errors in the two-point win.  The Bison trailed 8-4 before going ahead for good with a 10-2 run helped in part by five IUPUI errors.

Whalen heated up in the fourth set with seven kills.  She had NDSU's final three points including a pair of kills on match point before the Jaguars finally ended it with a kill from Kelly Wachtel.

North Dakota State plays at Western Illinois at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20.  The Fighting Leathernecks are 9-13 overall and 3-8 in the league after a four-set home loss to South Dakota State on Friday.
