NDSU-Western Carolina Move Football Game to 2016

FARGO, N.D.--North Dakota State University athletic officials announced today that the football game with Western Carolina University originally scheduled for Sept. 21, 2013, has been moved to Sept. 1, 2016, by mutual agreement between the two schools.
Two-time defending NCAA Division I FCS national champion North Dakota State is scheduled to open the 2013 season at Kansas State University on Aug. 31.
North Dakota State is in the process of finalizing the 2013 schedule and athletic officials will make an announcement in the near future.
North Dakota State won the program’s second NCAA Division I Football Championship with a 39-13 win over Sam Houston State on Jan. 5 in Frisco, Texas, and also claimed the program's second Missouri Valley Football Conference title. The Bison were 14-1 overall and 7-1 in MVFC.
