HIGH SCHOOL: Won a national title in folkstyle (120 lbs.) at the 2012 Senior Nationals in Virginia ... California high school state runner-up as a junior in 2011 (112 lbs.) ... fourth-place finisher at the California state meet as a senior in 2012 (126 lbs.) ... led Righetti HS to an undefeated dual record over his junior and senior seasons, going 103-10 individually in that span ... posted a record of 52-6 as a senior in 2011-12, winning league and CIF championships and finishing as a masters runner-up ... went 51-4 as a junior, claiming league, CIF, and masters titles ... also participated in cross country.

PERSONAL: Son of Angel Rodriguez and Jennifer Llanera ... has two brothers, Anthony and Matthew ... majoring in exercise science.
