CHARLOTTE, N.C.--North Dakota State University's Garrett Bruhn was named to the College Football Performance FCS Tight End Watch List. Bruhn was one of five Missouri Valley Football Conference and 38-players listed.

Bruhn, a 6-foot-1, 244-pound senior from Beatrice, Neb. (Beatrice H.S.), started in five of 14 games played last season. He caught 11 passes for 145 yards for an average of 13.2 yards per reception.

Bruhn, who had a career-long 30-yard reception at Western Illinois in 2011, has been a major contributor since his freshman year and played in 39 games. He helped to open holes for a pair of 1,000-yard rushers last season.

North Dakota State won the program’s first NCAA Division I Football Championship with a 17-6 win over Sam Houston State on Jan. 7 and also claimed the program's first Missouri Valley Football Conference title. The Bison were 14-1 overall and 7-1 in MVFC.
