2011-12 SEASON (Freshman)

NDSU's starter at heavyweight, compiling a 21-18 overall record and a 4-11 mark in dual meets ... registered six pins on the season ... opened the season 13-2, earning a third-place finish at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open on Nov. 5, a third-place finish at the Bison Open on Nov. 12, and a title at the Finn Grinaker Cobber Open on Nov. 19 ... recorded a pin of No. 20 Rutgers' Jesse Boyden (2:19) at the Virginia Duals on Jan. 14 ... went 3-3 in Western Wrestling Conference duals, earning wins against South Dakota State, Air Force and Utah Valley ... placed third at the NCAA West Regional on Mar. 4 ... Western Wrestling Conference Coaches' Honor Roll ... third team All-WWC.

HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year letterwinner out of Wausau West High School...Wisconsin state runner-up at 285 pounds as a senior and third as a junior...Two-time regional champion...Academic all-state performer...Helped team win 2008 state championship...Also a state qualifier in track and field...Played football.
