2011-12 SEASON (Redshirt Freshman)

Posted a 15-6 record overall with three pins ... went 2-1 in dual meets ... also recorded two major decisions and one tech fall ... went 4-1 at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open on Nov. 5 for third place ... Bison Open champion on Nov. 12, going 4-0 ... one of two Bison to win matches in the dual with No. 4 Minnesota on Nov. 27, defeating Steven Avalos, 10-6 ... went 3-3 at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, including decisions over William George of Cornell and Tyler Koehn of Nebraska ... registered a win by fall in his only Western Wrestling Conference dual, pinning Joe Rasmussen of South Dakota State in 4:51 on Dec. 6 ... did not compete after Dec. 18 due to injury.

2010-11 SEASON (Redshirt): Competed in five open tournaments as an unattached wrestler...Compiled a record of 18-4 at 165 pounds...Finished second at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open...Took third at the Bison Open...Placed second in the amateur division at the Kaufman-Brand Open with his only loss coming to Robert Kokesh of Nebraska...Won the Dragon Open red division title...Took second at the Husky Open.

HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year letterwinner at Simley High School...Won the 160 pound Minnesota state title as a senior with a record of 44-3...Three-time state entrant...Placed third at the state tournament as a junior...Three-time section champion and all-conference selection...Team won three straight state titles...Tallied 60 career pins...Finished high school with a record of 121-24...Also an all-state soccer player for Simley.
