FARGO, N.D. - The North Dakota State University athletic department announced the launch of the Bison Text Club, a wireless text message service to keep Bison fans connected to NDSU athletics.
 
Beginning today, fans can text 'Bison' to 41411 and register to receive text alerts.  Registered users will receive alerts featuring special offers, promotional information, ticket announcements, breaking news and more.  Users can choose to stop receiving text alerts at any time by replying "STOP" to any message.
 
The service is free and available on all phone carriers in the United States.  Standard text message rates apply.
