The purpose of the North Dakota State University Athletics Committee is to be informed in matters affecting intercollegiate athletics at North Dakota State University; to effectively communicate with the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, the Director of Women’s Intercollegiate Athletics, the University Senate and the President in areas of concern regarding athletics. 

Membership shall consist of one faculty member from each college or school except University Studies and the Graduate School; two students; a representative of the Staff Senate and Faculty Senate; the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics; the Director of Women’s Intercollegiate Athletics; the Vice President for Diversity Equity and Global Outreach; and the Faculty Athletics Representative. With the exception of the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, the Director of Women’s Intercollegiate Athletics, the Vice President for Diversity Equity and Global Outreach; and the Faculty Athletics Representative, the maximum length of term shall be four years.
