NDSU's Anderson Named Summit League Golfer of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. - North Dakota State's Amy Anderson was named Summit League Female Golfer of the Week by the league office Wednesday, March 13.
Anderson won the South Dakota State Jackrabbit Invitational by 14 shots Monday and Tuesday in Primm, Nev., with a 7-under-par 209 that set a new NDSU 54-hole tournament record.
Anderson shot 2-under 70 in each of the first two rounds followed by a 3-under 69 in the final round. She leads The Summit League by more than five shots with a 72.79 average.
It was Anderson's second victory of the season and the 17th of her career, tying the NCAA Division I record of 17 wins by LPGA golfer Juli Inkster at San Jose State, according to Golf World.
Anderson has won seven career Summit League Golfer of the Week awards in addition to two Golfer of the Month awards last fall.
North Dakota State is off until the Cincinnati Spring Invitational on March 22-24 in Crystal River, Fla.
