NDSU Women to Open Outdoor Season at San Diego State

North Dakota State women's track & field, the five-time defending Summit League champions, will open the 2013 outdoor season at the Aztec Invitational hosted by San Diego State University on Mar. 14-16.

The women's heptathlon and men's decathlon will begin on Thursday, Mar. 14. Open sections of track & field events will be held on Friday, Mar. 15, and invitational sections requiring minimum qualification standards will compete on Saturday, Mar. 16. A distance carnival featuring the 1500m, mile, 3000m, 5000m and steeplechase will take place on Friday evening.

NDSU has captured The Summit League's outdoor track & field team title each year since joining the league for the 2007-08 season.
