NDSU's Anderson Named Summit League Men's Golfer of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. - North Dakota State's Nathan Anderson was named Summit League Men's Golfer of the Week by the league office Wednesday, Feb. 20.
Anderson, a senior from Oxbow, N.D., tied for second place at the Rice Intercollegiate on Feb. 4-5, where he shot a three-round score of 211 to finish one shot back.
Anderson recorded 10 birdies in the final round including 7 of 9 holes at one stretch and his score of 64 tied the NDSU 18-hole record set by Taylor Cavanagh in 2008.
It was Anderson's fifth top-five finish in six events this year and his second career Golfer of the Week award. He was a two-time Golfer of the Month last fall.
North Dakota State is off until March 11-12 when the Bison go to the South Dakota State Jackrabbit Invitational in Primm, Nev.
