Braun MVP, Wright All-Tourney at Progressive Legends Classic Subregional

PITTSBURGH - North Dakota State's Taylor Braun was named Most Valuable Player and TrayVonn Wright was named to the all-tournament team at the Progressive Legends Classic subregional Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Braun, a 6-foot-7 junior guard from Newberg, Ore., averaged 14.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists in NDSU's 3-0 run through the tournament.  He led the Bison with 19 points, seven rebounds and six assists in Wednesday's 66-44 win over James Madison.

Wright, a 6-foot-7 junior forward from Waterloo, Iowa, averaged 12.3 points and 7.3 rebounds.  Eleven of his 22 rebounds were on the offensive glass.  He notched his third career double-double with 18 points and 10 boards in the 57-43 win over Duquesne.

North Dakota State (5-1) plays Green Bay (2-3) at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wis.
