Fort Wayne (6-6-0, 2-1-0 Summit) held only a slight edge in total shots at 14-12. The Mastodons put seven shots on goal in the match, topping NDSU's five.

Bison goalkeeper Sierra Bonham made five saves in the match. IPFW's Sam Pavlika also made five saves to record the shutout.
