NDSU Women’s Track & Field Tryouts Set for Sept. 12

The North Dakota State University women's track & field team will be holding tryouts on Sept. 12 for any interested female NDSU students.

The tryouts will take place at 3:45 p.m. on Wed., Sept. 12, at the Ellig Sports Complex, located on 15th Ave. N. west of Newman Outdoor Field.

Events will include the pole vault, throwing events, jumps and sprints. Any female distance runners interested in trying out should contact NDSU head women's track & field coach Ryun Godfrey at (701) 793-0430.

Students participating in the tryouts must be full-time students enrolled at NDSU for the Fall 2012 semester. Demonstration of NCAA Division I skills will be the benchmark used to evaluate athletic ability. Participants are expected to dress appropriately and provide any personal equipment necessary.
