FARGO, N.D.—Michael Tveidt scored 23 points and Eric Carlson had career highs of 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead North Dakota State to a 110-82 win over Minot State in men’s college basketball Wednesday, Nov. 18, before a crowd of 1,683 at the Bison Sports Arena.

NDSU’s Sam Sussenguth and Mike Felt added 13 points apiece, Dejuan Flowers scored 12, and Jordan Aaberg had 10 points and seven rebounds for the Bison, who shot 57 percent overall.

Nick Turner made four 3-pointers and scored a team-high 20 points off the bench for Minot State (5-2).  The Beavers shot 39 percent overall.

Minot State twice led by seven points in the first half, going ahead 36-29 on a Shaun Johnson 3-pointer with 7:09 left in the period.

Sussenguth scored five straight points for North Dakota State, and Nate Zastrow’s 3-pointer put the Bison ahead 37-36.

Tveidt scored on the next possession to cap a 10-0 NDSU run, and the Bison went ahead 55-42 by halftime.

North Dakota State is scheduled to host Idaho at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21.  The Vandals are 1-1 after a 72-65 loss at Texas Southern.
