SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Junior Brittany Gigstead finished 99th to lead three North Dakota State runners at the NCAA Cross Country Midwest Regional on Saturday, Nov. 14.

Gigstead finished the six-kilometer run in a time of 23:17.9.  Freshman Hannah McAllister came in 132nd in a time of 24:08.2, while sophomore Jordan Krahn was 134th in 24:15.2.

Since only three runners competed for the Bison, they did not receive a team score.  Minnesota captured the team title, while Angela Bizzarri of Illinois won the 173-person race in 20:07.5.  Minnesota and second place Illinois automatically advance to the NCAA Championships Monday, Nov. 23 in Terre Haute, Ind.
