SHREVEPORT, La.--Brooke VandenBergh had 12 kills and Lauren McLaughlin added 10 to lead North Dakota State to a 25-13, 25-21, 25-12 victory over Centenary in Summit League women's volleyball Friday, Nov. 13, at the Gold Dome. It was the 36th straight Summit League win for North Dakota State, which improved to 21-3 overall and 17-0 in the league. Centenary dropped to 4-24 overall and 0-17 in the league. VandenBergh and McLaughlin combined to make only two errors in 40 attacks and the Bison outhit Centenary by a .425 to .159 margin. NDSU setter Jennifer Lopez dished out 32 assists and libero Kelly Lopez made a team-high eight digs. Melissa Reed led Centenary with six kills and Jaclyn Lopez made 17 assists and nine digs. North Dakota State is scheduled to close the regular season at Oral Roberts on Saturday, Nov. 14. The Golden Eagles are 11-14 overall and 7-9 in The Summit League after a 3-1 home win over South Dakota State on Friday. |
