EAGLE, Neb.--North Dakota State's Jenna Buckwalter is in fourth place with a 5-over 147 after two rounds at the Nebraska Chip-N Club Invitational women's college golf tournament at Woodland Hills on Monday, Sept. 10.

Buckwalter, a junior from Hayti, S.D., shot the best two rounds of her NDSU career.  She started with a 3-over 74 in the first round and birdied two of the last five holes to card a 2-over 73 in the second round.

Buckwalter is four strokes behind tournament co-leaders Linn Gustafsson of Texas State and Sara Wikstrom of Arkansas-Little Rock, who are both at 1-over 143.  Kansas State's Kali Quick is third with a 2-over 144.

North Dakota State, meanwhile, is in 17th place out of 19 teams.  The Bison battled rain and temperatures in the low-50s to shoot a 342 in the opening round, but NDSU bounced back with a 318 once the clouds broke early in the second round.  It was the third-best single-round total in school history.

Texas State is one shot up on Kansas State, Arkansas-Little Rock is 10 strokes out in third place, and tournament host Nebraska is 18 shots back in fourth place.

The 54-hole tournament concludes with a single 18-hole round Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Woodland Hills beginning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
