Bison Women Wrap Up Aztec Invitational

SAN DIEGO - The North Dakota State women's track & field team completed competition at the Aztec Invitational hosted by San Diego State on Saturday.

Senior All-American Leslie Brost cleared 13-08.50 (4.18m) for the top mark in the pole vault. Caitlin Mack was 12th with a clearance of 12-02.75 (3.73m). Brost ranks No. 4 in the nation this season with Saturday's performance.

Katie Johnson placed third in the shot put with a toss of 46-03.25 (14.10m).

Freshman Sierra Rosenau made her season debut and took seventh place in the javelin, throwing 138-00 (42.07m) - a mark that ranks her No. 7 all-time at NDSU.

Junior Antoinette Goodman placed seventh in the 200m dash in 24.03 seconds and 23rd in the 400m, registering an outdoor personal best at 57.55. Sophomore Melissa Kitching was 12th in the 400m hurdles at 1:03.44.

NDSU will compete next at the Arizona State Invitational on Mar. 22-23.
