NDSU's Anderson Fires Final-Round 67 for Eighth Place at Jackrabbit Invitational

PRIMM, Nev. - North Dakota State's Nathan Anderson shot a 5-under-par 67 in the final round to tie for eighth place at the South Dakota State Jackrabbit Invitational on Tuesday, March 12, at the Primm Valley Golf Club.
Anderson finished the tournament at 4-under 212. The individual title was a two-man race with Air Force's Kyle Westmoreland shooting a 15-under 201 to win by one shot over Idaho's Gordon Webb.
North Dakota State finished seventh in the 14-team field with an 874. Air Force won with an 828, Idaho was second with an 841, and South Dakota State third with an 855.
NDSU's Bill Carlson tied for 30th place overall with a 3-over 219, Nate Varty led the Bison with a 1-under 71 in the second round and tied for 34th overall with a 220.
Bison golfer Trent Olson tied for 54th place with a 226 and teammate Connor Holland tied for 63rd with a 231.
North Dakota State is off until March 29-30 when the Bison go to Western Illinois for the Beu/Mussatto Invitational.
