INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--IUPUI opened the second half with a 16-3 run and went to defeat North Dakota State University 57-50 in a Summit League women's basketball game played Saturday, Feb. 16, before 270 at The Jungle.

North Dakota State (5-9 Summit League, 9-17) is scheduled to host Omaha (6-6 Summit League, 16-8) at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Bison Sports Arena.

Dawn Luster scored all 10 of her points in the second half to lead the Jaguars (9-3 Summit League, 16-9), who outscored the Bison 37-21 in the second half. Kerah Nelson added 10 points and seven rebounds for IUPUI, which used 12 players in the game.

The Jaguars shot 40.7 percent from the field and held a 48-29 rebound advantage. IUPUI scored 18 points off 13 NDSU turnovers, but committed 20 in the game.

Dani DeGagne led North Dakota State with 11 points and eight rebounds. The Bison shot 26.3 percent from the field.
