FARGO, N.D. - Meghan Bray had 15 kills and Alli Kirk made 24 digs to lead Oakland to a 19-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-19 win over North Dakota State in Summit League women's volleyball Saturday, Oct. 27.

Bray added 17 digs and Taylor Humm finished with 13 kills and 16 digs for the Golden Grizzlies, who improved to 14-11 overall and are tied for fourth in The Summit League at 7-6.

Jenni Fassbender tied a career high with 15 kills, Megan Lambertson had 13 kills and Brynn Joki tallied 10 kills and a team-high 20 digs for North Dakota State, which dropped to 10-15 overall and is sixth in the league at 6-7.

NDSU was within 16-15 each of the final three sets before Oakland pulled away.  The Golden Grizzlies closed the second set on a 7-2 run, scored five of the last six points in the third, and built a six-point lead late in the fourth with a 5-0 run.

North Dakota State is at Kansas City and South Dakota next Friday, Nov. 2, and Sunday, Nov. 4, before closing out the league schedule at home the following Friday, Nov. 9, against South Dakota State.
