Kelly Leads NDSU Men’s Cross Country at Stanford Invitational

PALO ALTO, Calif. - North Dakota State sophomore Brett Kelly led the Bison at the Stanford Invitational on Saturday morning, placing 111th overall with an eight-kilometer time of 26:19. As a team, NDSU finished 21st out of 29 teams.

Freshman Bryon Schuldt was the No. 2 finisher for NDSU, completing the course in 26:25 for 124th place. Junior Moses Heppner ran 26:36, freshman Brendan Skime ran 26:46, and sophomore Grady Anderson ran 27:28 to round out the scoring for the Bison.

Josh Hintz joined Anderson in finishing at 27:28. Kelly, Schuldt and Heppner all posted season-best 8k times on Saturday.

Host Stanford claimed the team title with 34 total points.

NDSU will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 13, at the North Dakota Invitational in Grand Forks.
