NDSU's Carlson Wins Amateur Division of Bobcat North Dakota Open

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State sophomore Bill Carlson was the top amateur finisher at the Bobcat North Dakota Open golf championship played Aug. 24-26 at the Fargo Country Club.
Carlson shot a three-round total of 5-under-par 211 and won by nine shots over NDSU teammate Nathan Anderson and one other competitor who tied for second place.
Several NDSU players competed, including senior Amy Anderson from the Bison women's team who shot a 222.
Incoming NDSU freshman Connor Holland shot a 228, Nate Varty and Trent Olson shot 229, Kavin Dvorak shot a 237, Josh Weismantel turned in a 239, and Oliver Boeckel had a 240.
