BOISE, Idaho - The offensive attack of Boise State was too much for the North Dakota State University women's soccer team to overcome Sunday, Aug. 19, as the Bison dropped a 4-1 decision at the Boise State Holiday Inn Classic.

Boise State held a 1-0 halftime lead behind a 13th-minute goal from Katy Oehring, and the Broncos expanded the margin to 3-0 with goals from Anna Popma and Shannon Schueren in the 71st and 74th minutes, respectively.

NDSU seniors Brooklyn Dyce and Jordyn Wallenborn assisted sophomore Anisha Kinnarath's goal in the 76th minute to get the Bison on the scoreboard, but Boise State tacked on one final goal in the 82nd minute to set the final margin at 4-1.

Boise State (2-0-0) held a 21-5 edge in total shots and a 10-3 advantage in shots on goal.

Freshman goalkeeper Katie McCormick made her first start in goal for the Bison and registered six saves.

NDSU (0-2-0) will return to action on Friday, Aug. 24, when it travels to Eastern Washington for a 6 p.m. match.
