Gold Rush Set for NCAA Quarterfinal

The North Dakota State athletic department has announced that the NCAA Division I FCS quarterfinal playoff game scheduled for Dec. 8, 2012 at Gate City Bank Field in the Fargodome has been designated as a "Gold Rush" game.

The NDSU football team will be wearing an alternate gold jersey for the 2 p.m. game. NDSU encourages all fans to wear gold to the game.

The Bison own a 7-0 record in the gold jerseys. This will mark the fifth time the team has worn the jerseys in the NCAA playoffs.

To add to the playoff atmosphere, the athletic department and CI Sport have also created a rally towel that is available for purchase.

These "Thunder Towels" can be purchased for $9.99 at the following retailers: NDSU Bookstore, Scheels, Stop N Go, Hornbacher's and Petro.
