DeHoff's Take: “Holly, a North Dakota native, brings excitement to her freshman year with her ability to shoot the ball with range. Her length and strength allow her to play multiple positions and will look to make an impact."

High School Days: A 2012 graduate of Minot High School ... Capped off senior year with her selection as North Dakota's Miss Basketball ... Led the Majettes, coached by Todd Magnuson, to an 18-7 record and fifth place showing at the Class A state tournament ... Averaged 17.5 points, 8 rebounds and 3.2 assists as a senior ... Shot 44 percent from the field and 32 percent from 3-point range ... Saved one of her best games for last, capping her prep career with 25 points and 17 rebounds in a 53-44 win over Mandan in the fifth-place game at the state tournament ... Averaged 17 points and 11 rebounds in three tournament games ... Set multiple single-season school records as a junior, including points (507), rebounds (288), and three-pointers (51) ... Her points per game (20.3) and rebounds per game (11.5) were also school marks ... She was twice named to the all-Western Dakota Association (WDA) team, All-State first team, as well as the all-state tournament team ... Also named the Minot Daily News All-Area Player of the Year on two occasions.
