Anderson, NDSU Women Lead After First Day of Jackrabbit Fall Invitational

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The North Dakota State women's golf team has an 11-shot lead after the first two rounds of the Jackrabbit Fall Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 30, at Minnehaha Country Club.

North Dakota State shot rounds of 309 and 310 and the Bison lead the eight-team tournament with a 619 ahead of Creighton (630), Augustana (631) and Northern Iowa (631) on the team leaderboard.

NDSU senior Amy Anderson shot rounds of 71 and 70 and is the individual leader at 1-under par 141 six shots ahead of Augustana's Allie Ostrander.

The Bison have three players in the top 10 with sophomore Sarah Storandt tied for sixth at 157 and freshman Hailey Boner tied for 10th at 158.

NDSU junior Abby Knutson is tied for 19th with a 163 and junior Megan Swan is tied for 32nd with a 171.

The final round is scheduled for a 9 a.m. shotgun start Monday, Oct. 1.
