North Dakota State University students interested in trying out for the NCAA Division I women's softball team may participate in a tryout.

Tryouts are open to all full-time, female students enrolled at NDSU fall semester 2012. Demonstration of NCAA Division I skills will be the benchmark used to evaluate athletic ability. Bring appropriate practice gear.

Tryouts are scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, at the Ellig Sports Complex, located off 15th Ave. N. The softball entrance is on the north side of the complex between the softball diamonds and research park.

Pre-registration is required.
